I’ve got New York on my mind! Last week I was lucky enough to carve out two days to hit the streets of New York City. My reason for traveling was to see friends, family and check out our brand new Beautycounter store in SOHO! Yes, you read right, we have our first brick and mortar store in New York. This is not only exciting for me, its good news for you too! If your travels bring you to New York this month, or in the new year, please be sure to stop in and check it out—you will not be disappointed.
From our branded wallpaper, to our in-store phone to call your local senator and ask for more clean beauty regulations, this Beautycounter shop has it all! Plus, we sometimes carry out of stock online products here. You can’t beat that!
While I was in New York City checking out the new Beautycounter store, my friends/ co-workers and I also stumbled into a few other hot spots, which of course I have to share with you!
Cha Cha Matcha
If you are downtown, make sure you check out Cha Cha Matcha on Broome Street! Not only was there a palm tree on top of my drink, but it might have been infused with CBD too :). After a night out, this hit the spot.
I am still dreaming about Clic and this dreamy hat! I absolutely love it. There store is conveniently located next to another favorite store, Apiece Apart.
Leave time for Lunch at Le Botaniste. This place made me feel like I was in Europe! Everyone was enjoying a crisp, white wine while eating plant based, organic salads, and the best tasting soup bowls I have ever had! They have a location downtown and Upper East Side. I can’t wait to go back to this spot next time! Don’t forget to try their quinoa cookies—they are absolutely delicious.
For dinner we went to an old favorite, Freemans Restaurant in the Alley. They have fantastic service, drinks and food. I would highly recommend the artichoke dip and the s’mores for dessert. Remember, calories on vacation don’t count.
Leave time to hit up my favorite workout in the city, The Class by Taryn Toomey. It is the best place to sweat out all your travel toxins, and get ready to enjoy your time in the City. We loved our class with Emma, but all the teachers are amazing. This trip I tried The Class Cardio, and I would go everyday if I could.
Beautycounter Store in SOHO
Plan to clean up and stock up at Beautycounter in SOHO, located at 51 Prince Street. Make sure you tell them Kristine Gardner sent you! When you purchase in-store, you get a darling, reusable tote bag and the best customer service. Snap a picture of you in the store, and you get an extra treat!
These are some of my favorite spots this trip, and can’t wait to make it back hopefully sometime in early 2019! What are your go-to’s in New York?
Happy Holidays to everyone! I’m looking forward to lots to come in 2019. I have a lot in store, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
