For this weekend’s fun finds, I bring to you frozen vegan treats from Pressed Juicery, a healthy pizza for kids and adults, and a summer ensemble you can wear to almost any occasion. I hope you enjoy!

Pressed Juicery

Pressed Juicery is one of my go-to places for delicious cold-pressed juices and cleanses. You can choose from a variety of juices including, mixed greens, roots, citrus, fruits, coffee, H2O and so much more! If you’re into the juice cleanse, they have one, three and five day cleanses available.

Pressed Juicery makes high nutrition juices that taste great, are simple and affordable. They have done studies that show how high pressure processing (placing a bottle of juice into a cold chamber of water and applying pressure to it) removes potential pathogens and other microbes. At the same time, the process has a small impact on vitamins, antioxidants and nutrition so you don’t miss out on all the natural goodness that comes from fruits and veggies. “Juices that have been through the [pressure] process exhibit high antioxidant activity, and contain diverse phenolic compounds that can contribute to health benefits after their consumption.” Juice on!

They recently opened a new one in Brentwood, just off San Vicente, closer to where I live, and it’s the perfect treat on a hot day! Aside from their pressed juices, you can get frozen vegan treats made from their juices with your choice of toppings. I fell in love with the greens topped with shaved almonds and chia seeds. It’s the best! Added bonus: kids love it, and don’t think twice about the kale they are having for a sweet treat :).

OH YES! Pizza

oh yes pizza healthy pizzaFinding a really healthy pizza for kids can be difficult (unless you make your own!). I recently came across a delicious yet very healthy pizza called OH YES! Pizza from Ohyesfoods.com that’s loaded with veggies and fruits. They have four different options to choose from, and with each serving you get as much vitamin C as a bowl of blueberries, as much vitamin E as two large carrots, as much fiber as a cup of instant oatmeal, as much iron as one cup of fresh spinach, and as much vitamin A as an eight ounce glass of tomato juice. Can’t go wrong with that!

The icing on the cake is that these pizzas are 100 percent all natural, with no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, are non-GMO, and have a good source of vitamin A and C, protein and fiber. Currently they have partnered with four major retail brands in California, Hawaii, Arizona and Nevada with the hopes of spreading to other locations in other states in the near future. Are you ready?

Summer Ensemble

summer fashionI recently came across a few favourite new fashion pieces I put together that I can wear out with friends or on a date with my hubby. My bag is from Legend of Lido, my striped off-the-shoulder poplin top is from Zara (also available in sold colors), and the necklace is from brooke rodd, a beautiful chic boutique here in Los Angeles.

Until the next post..cheers to health and summer style!

xx Kristine
